Who We Are
The Inspirational Roots of Omega Global Development's Community-Driven Mission
Our organization was born in a local church, where the co-founders were involved in an international ministry. Through this work, they learned that given the right resources and opportunities, people become self-sufficient and eager to uplift their local communities and society. This powerful model of inspiration sparked an idea that could be applied on a global scale. And so, Omega Global Development was born with a mission to transform lives regardless of religion, ethnicity, race, or nationality.
At OGD, our primary goal is to empower communities to move beyond charity by leveraging local resources and developing solutions that promote productivity. While we continue to work within our community, we have achieved remarkable success by partnering with churches and other African organizations to achieve our mission. We collaborate with schools to provide education and sports and arts programs, build schools, support clinics, train emergent leaders, and develop sustainable initiatives that empower women.
