One of my greatest moments of this trip has been meeting with the pastors and national church leaders.

When we arrived in Zambia, we knew that there would be Covid restrictions that would change our plans and we needed to be flexible.

When we arrived in Lusaka, our goal was to bring books to create a library for the elementary school. However, we discovered a greater need.

We left at 4 am this morning to go on a 12 hour road trip. It was life changing.

Today we had the opportunity to view several initiatives. It was a joy to witness the beginning of this years cycle of women’s agriculture initiative and although it is winter here there were signs of growth and life.

We are finally settling in for our stay in Lusaka for the next few weeks.

We left at 5 am this morning. With only two hours of sleep it was a little exhausting.

As we count down these final days, there is a lot going on.

The packing begins and we are almost overwhelmed by all of the preparations that are taking place.

The Johnsons are headed to Africa. As co-founders, we have the wonderful opportunity to see the impact of our work and the donations of our partners. This year is especially wonderful because we have the opportunity to take our adult children with us.
