The Price of Education
Sandra Day O’Connor once said, “We pay a price when we deprive children of the exposure to the values, principles, and education they need to make good citizens.”
Saying Goodbye
I don’t know how to express how Africa has our lives. From preaching to visiting villages to walking with lions, we will never be the same.
The Pastors and Leaders
One of my greatest moments of this trip has been meeting with the pastors and national church leaders.
The School Children
When we arrived in Zambia, we knew that there would be Covid restrictions that would change our plans and we needed to be flexible.
School Days
When we arrived in Lusaka, our goal was to bring books to create a library for the elementary school. However, we discovered a greater need.
Traveling Day
We left at 5 am this morning. With only two hours of sleep it was a little exhausting.
Packing Time
The packing begins and we are almost overwhelmed by all of the preparations that are taking place.
The Countdown
The Johnsons are headed to Africa. As co-founders, we have the wonderful opportunity to see the impact of our work and the donations of our partners. This year is especially wonderful because we have the opportunity to take our adult children with us.
