LaShelle Johnson is a visionary leader, educator, and entrepreneur dedicated to transforming communities through sustainable development and empowerment initiatives. As the Creator and Owner of the African Impact Marketplace, she connects African artisans, farmers, and cooperatives with global markets, utilizing Fair Trade principles to ensure that proceeds are returned to communities, benefiting future generations.

With over 40 years of ministry and teaching experience, LaShelle also serves as Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Omega Global Development, a faith-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization focused on creating sustainable initiatives in agriculture, maternal health, and girls' sports programs while promoting education and entrepreneurship across Africa. LaShelle holds dual Master of Arts degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary, one in Theology/Theological Studies (2021) and another in Global Leadership (2016). She has pursued one year of a Doctorate of Missiology from Fuller. Currently, she is pursuing an online certificate in Lived Theology and World Christianity through the Overseas Ministries Center at Princeton Theological Seminary.

LaShelle is ordained through both the Church of God Anderson (2021) and Church Without Walls International (2016), bringing a strong foundation of faith-based leadership to her work. A published author, LaShelle co-wrote "Changing Her Story: Breaking Barriers to Empower Women to Lead in Life, Leadership and the Church" (2017), addressing gender representation in senior leadership positions. Lashelle has also served as a refugee mentor. Beyond her professional endeavors, LaShelle has maintained a career as a self-employed professional musician, specializing in classical and gospel music. She is also a wildlife and animal artist passionate about genealogical research, bringing creativity and historical perspective to her diverse interests and community work.

LaShelle is married to Don. Together they share eight children, a son and daughter-in-law, and two grandsons.
