Mr. Kevin P. James is a knowledgeable, energetic, and resourceful professional who has served and continues to serve in administrative/leadership positions where extensive experience and professional skills are fully utilized to produce outstanding results. Kevin offers a collaborative, hands-on management style with excellent training, motivation, and team-building skills. He is an accessible Manager and Facilitator who can bring people from diverse perspectives together around shared goals and objectives, develop them, and encourage participation. Kevin also takes analytical and objective approaches to problem-solving, which helps bring excellent results to objectives.
Kevin currently serves as an education specialist at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. He coordinates the Zoo’s teen leadership program (Zoo Crew) and the Zoo’s Community Engagement Initiative, focusing on workforce development for teens. Kevin also works as a mentor for Ohio Guidestone and an independent contractor tutor for Grade Potential tutoring. Kevin has also served as Assistant Principal/Principal of Broadway Academy: Cleveland, Ohio (2015-2017). Director of Operations and Education Services- Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio Cleveland, Ohio (2005-2014) and more.
Kevin also serves as a Crisis Chaplain with the New York State Chaplain Taskforce (Ohio Branch) and a Planning and Zoning Commissioner on the Maple Heights Planning and Zoning Commission. Mr. James has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from Cleveland State University and a Master of Arts Degree in Education Administration from Ursuline College.
