Dr. Gayle A. Terrell has been an ordained minister with the Ohio Ministries Church of God of Anderson, Indiana, since 2015. She serves at The Church of the Harvest Church of God in Middleburgh Heights, Ohio. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (Psychological Anthropology) from Cleveland State University, a Master of Public Health (Epidemiology) from Northeast Ohio Medical University, in consortium with Cleveland State University, and a Doctoral Degree with honors (Christian Counseling) from South University School of Theology.
Dr. Terrell works full-time as an Eligibility Specialist with Cuyahoga County Job & Family Services in the Specialized Medicaid Benefits Center (SMBC), determining eligibility for Medicaid, Waiver Services, Long—and Short-Term Care Medicaid, and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.
She accepted the call placed on her life by God in ‘2009 and has continued to grow stronger and spiritually in the Lord Jesus Christ. She was married to the late Deacon Seth L. Terrell for 19 years, and they have two (2) adult children and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Reverend Doctor Gayle A. Terrell is highly committed to preaching the gospel and lives her life following one of her favorite scriptures that ushered her into ministry, Matthew 28:19, 20: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
